After entering the country with X1 visa, international students must apply for residence permit at the Entry And Exit Administration of Wujin District of Changzhou Public Security Bureau within 30 days.
Materials required:
(1) The original and copy of valid passport (ordinary passport required) and visa, including the home page, entry information page with seal and visa page;
(2) The original of the admission letter;
(3) The original of visa application form for foreign students studying in China (JW201 or JW202);
(4) Visa Application For Foreigners, please paste 1 recent color photo with white background,2 inch (taken at the entry-exit site);
(5) Application Letter For Visa Certificate Of Foreigners
(6) Temporary accommodation registration certificate;
(7) The original of verification certificate of physical examination records of overseas personnel issued by Changzhou Entry And Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
(8) Copy of the certificate of public institution legal person issued by the school
Notice：
(1) International students with residence permits are allowed to stay in China during the validity of the residence permit, and can also enter and leave China for many times.
(2) International students who need to continue to stay in Nanjing after the expiration of their visa or residence permit must apply to Entry And Exit Administration of Wujin District of Changzhou Public Security Bureau for extension before the expiration.
(3) International students who have changed their residence address and institutions of study must apply for a change of residence permit to the Entry And Exit Administration of Wujin District of Changzhou Public Security Bureau within 10 days.
(4) You must pay fees to apply for a residence permit in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Entry And Exit Administration of Wujin District of Changzhou Public Security Bureau.
(5) International students are not allowed to work or obtain employment in China because their residence reason is study.
(6) The public security organ shall punish foreigners or persons responsible for illegal residence (stay) or other illegal acts in China according to law.
(7) The Entry And Exit Administration of public security has the right to refuse to issue visas and certificates to foreigners according to law, and has the right to revoke or declare invalid the issued visas and certificates.
